The 2009 Annual Report reflects Clearinghouse CDFI’s ability to deliver results during one of the most difficult periods in the financial sector. The organization achieved its 10th consecutive year of profitability, funded more than $83 million in loans, and continued supporting affordable housing, community development, and New Markets Tax Credit projects throughout California. The year also included a $100 million New Markets Tax Credit allocation award and a $1 million award from the U.S. Treasury’s CDFI Fund, strengthening Clearinghouse CDFI’s capacity to expand its impact in low-income communities.
