Clearinghouse CDFI Finances Senior Housing Preservation

Clearinghouse CDFI provided a $1.4 million loan to Sarann Knight to refinance a four-story affordable housing development serving low-income seniors in Las Vegas, NV.

Originally built in 2009 under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, Sarann Knight Apartments offers safe, stable housing and supports aging in place for elderly residents. This refinancing replaces the original LIHTC investor partner, strengthening the property’s financial position and ensuring it continues serving the community for years to come.

In a city where senior housing demand is rising and affordable options remain limited, this investment helps prevent displacement, promotes housing preservation, and supports long-term economic stability for aging residents.
