Clearinghouse CDFI provided a $6.25 million loan to Pechanga Development Corporation (PDC), the economic development arm of the Pechanga Band of Indians, to refinance a 569-unit self-storage facility in Lake Wales, FL.
The facility is part of the larger Lake Wales Commons development, a growing commercial center designed to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding population. With more than 16,000 new homes planned and increasing demand for climate-controlled storage, the project strengthens the region’s critical infrastructure by providing secure, accessible storage solutions for businesses and residents alike.
By expanding access to essential services, the project fosters business continuity, supports economic resilience, and contributes to the sustainable long-term growth of the Lake Wales community.
