Sol Dog Lodge – Marana, AZ
Clearinghouse CDFI (CCDFI) provided a $2,720,000 loan to AGR Foundation Inc. for the construction of a new facility for Sol Dog Lodge. This loan will support the consolidation of their two existing facilities into a central location in Marana, AZ, enhancing their capacity to serve the community.
Sol Dog Lodge, established in 2013, has been a beacon of hope for Marana’s canine community. Constrained by their current facilities, they face the challenge of meeting increasing demand, often having to turn away as many customers as they assist. Financing provided by CCDFI supports Sol Dog Lodge expansion to develop a larger dog boarding and training facility. This expansion will significantly increase their service capacity, from accommodating 51 dogs per day to 174 dogs per day. The new facility will feature over 55 boarding spaces, large training areas, a dog grooming salon, retail space, and outdoor training spaces.
Sol Dog Lodge is a non-profit organization committed to keeping dogs out of shelters and strengthening the bond between dogs and their human companions. They offer various services, including training, enrichment, wellness programs, and boarding.
