Eastpointe Village – San Bernardino, CA
Eastpointe Village Affordable Housing is a project organized by Mary Erickson Affordable Housing (MECH). MECH is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing while promoting the well-being of working families in Southern California. In addition to this affordable housing, MECH provides Life Skills and Teen Forward programs that promote self-sufficiency and a progressive lifestyle to working class families in their neighborhood.
Clearinghouse CDFI provided $820,000 in funding for the reimbursable fees, costs, and reserves MECH requires to pay the City of San Bernardino for future predevelopment of the Eastpointe Village project.
The Eastpointe Village project will provide 52-units of low-income multifamily housing in San Bernardino. This housing will create stability, safety, and value within the neighborhood.
