Clearinghouse CDFI provided $741,000 in financing for Brilliant Corners to acquire a single-family house located in California’s San Francisco Bay area. Brilliant Corners will rehabilitate the house with North Bay Regional Center funds and operate it as an enhanced behavioral support home.
The renovated single-family home will support 4 residents, each requiring 24-hour, non-medical, in-home care. The property will also be equipped with additional staff, delayed egress devices, and secured perimeters to ensure resident safety.
Brilliant Corners is a nonprofit organization focused on cultivating supportive housing solutions for low-income, developmentally disabled, and other at-risk individuals. The specialized care Brilliant Corners provides, allows these individuals access to home-like, dignified living environments where they can achieve long-term stability and autonomy.
