Bienestar Apartments – LIHTC
Comite de Bien Estar, Inc. (Comite) is a nonprofit community development organization committed to providing migrant workers and other low-income individuals with affordable housing solutions and vital social services in the border community of San Luis, AZ. Since 1977, the organization has worked to empower those who are disadvantaged and lack access to conventional financing.
Clearinghouse CDFI provided $1.05 million in financing for Comite to finance a 92-unit, low-income apartment complex.
Clearinghouse CDFI previously provided a $472,500 loan to the organization for the acquisition of a convenience store that offers discounted gasoline for members of Comite de Bien Estar, Inc.
