$5 Million Loan for the Acquisition of a Sustainable Meat Packing Facility 

One World Beef (OWB) is a meat packing company focused on bringing transparency to the meat distribution industry. Concentrating on quality rather than speed, OWB employs sustainable meat distribution practices.

Clearinghouse CDFI financed a $5 million loan for OWB to acquire a new meat packing facility and implement updated sustainable processes. This includes an increase in food handling safety and the traceability of the meat throughout the process.

The acquisition of the new facility will create 225 full-time jobs and 20 construction jobs in a severely distressed area.
