The North Fork Community Development Council (North Fork CDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the redevelopment of the local North Fork Old Mill Site into a bioenergy facility.

Clearinghouse CDFI provided $4.1 million in loans for North Fork CDC to transform the site into a new facility, which will convert lumber scrap from the nearby Sierras into renewable energy. This project will create 30 permanent and construction jobs, promote healthy forests, and power 800 homes with renewable energy.
