We are pleased to welcome John Braden, Director of Human Resources, to Clearinghouse CDFI. His responsibilities will span the full scope of HR, beginning with recruitment and onboarding. He will also oversee payroll and employee benefits, including management of the company’s 401k program. John will guide employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws, while also developing training and professional growth opportunities for staff. Overall, he will play a central role in strengthening workplace culture at Clearinghouse CDFI.
Experience that Strengthens Our Team
John brings more than 25 years of HR experience in non-profit, technology, retail, and consulting. He holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and has extensive expertise in compliance and staff development. His leadership will help ensure staff are well supported and that our operations remain strong.
Rooted in Community
Originally from Kentucky and Southern Indiana, John now makes his home in Huntington Beach, where he says it feels like being on vacation every day. Outside of work, he restores classic cars—an interest that reflects both patience and an eye for lasting detail.
As Director of Human Resources, John reports to CCDFI Chief Administrative Officer Kathy Bonney and will work closely with the Employee Relations Specialist and ADP TotalSource. His steady approach will strengthen our workplace and help advance our mission to deliver meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
