AHP Assisted Living – Yorktown, IN

Clearinghouse CDFI (CCDFI) is working with Paul Ezekiel Turner to continue bringing affordable assisted living to Indiana’s low-income communities. With a $4,432,000 loan provided by CCDFI, Mr. Turner will convert a vacant property to an assisted living and memory care facility.

The high demand for affordable assisted living and memory care in Indiana far surpasses the current availability. Mr. Turner aims to increase that availability in Yorktown – a city identified as a “significantly undersupplied market” in a recent market study. CCDFI’s loan allows Mr. Turner to purchase a property previously operated as an independent senior living facility and transform it into 48 units of affordable assisted living and memory care. The completed facility will offer transportation services, beauty/barber services, a library, courtyards, walking paths, and more.

Paul Ezekiel Turner has spent over 20 years focusing on transforming lives for the better. In 2021, he founded Generous Heart Community Development, Inc. to own and develop assisted living projects. The new Yorktown facility will be managed by Priority Life Care, an established operator of rural assisted living.
