THAT Brewery is a locally owned small business offering specialized, award-winning craft beers throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
Clearinghouse CDFI provided two loans totaling $845,000 to help THAT Brewery establish a new, larger-scale production facility in the rural community of Cottonwood, and preserve the existing restaurant, brew pub, and cabins located in Pine, Arizona. The Arizona Commerce Authority participated in the loan for the Cottonwood facility.
THAT brewery continues to serve rural Arizona, while embracing several environmentally friendly green efforts. These include:
- Recycling used oil for biodiesel fuel
- Contributing a portion of the revenue from THAT Arizona Trail Ale to the maintenance of the Arizona National Scenic Trail—a continuous, 800-mile trail that links deserts, mountains, canyons, communities across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.
