Central Valley Community Sports Foundation

The Central Valley Community Sports Foundation (CVCSF) is a nonprofit organization focused on revitalizing community centers in California’s Central Valley.

Clearinghouse CDFI provided over $1.5 million in financing to rehabilitate a formerly dilapidated park in this 18-acre, outdoor recreational sports complex operated by CVCSF. The updated park will feature new baseball fields, pitching and batting cages, and a remodeled concession stand.

Now open, the new community sports complex is expected to attract over 4,600 individuals annually to central Fresno. The resulting increase in tax revenues will generate a recurring economic benefit for this severely distressed area.
