West Angeles Community Development Corporation

West Angeles Community Development Corporation (WACDC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1994 as an outreach program of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ. WACDC brings people and community resources together to help alleviate poverty and increase social and economic justice.

Clearinghouse CDFI provided a $400,000 loan for WACDC to transform a former office building into a shared workspace for creative professionals and young entrepreneurs.

WACDC’s new workspace will target students from a nearby charter high school and a local community college. It will offer full and virtual offices, incubators for start-up businesses, and vocational training.
