Founder & CEO, Housing Diversity Corporation

At Housing Diversity Corporation, we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating workforce and affordable housing in high-opportunity urban neighborhoods—places where working families can live near jobs, transit, and amenities. Finding lending partners who genuinely share that mission is rare. Clearinghouse CDFI has been exactly that partner. We currently have three loans with Clearinghouse CDFI: 1806 23rd Ave in Seattle’s Central District, 510 Broadway in Capitol Hill, and Cityscape Broadway in First Hill. Across all three, the experience has been consistently excellent. Their team took the time to understand our projects, got on board quickly, and worked collaboratively to fi nd structures that made sense for both the deal and the community it serves. What sets Clearinghouse CDFI apart is their genuine commitment to impact. When we refi nanced 1806 23rd Ave, the fi nancing not only kept the property in good standing during a challenging interest rate environment, but also funded a seven-unit addition that is now complete and occupied. The structure they provided enabled us to restrict 50% of the units to residents earning below 50% of Area Median Income—exactly the kind of deep affordability our communities need. That’s not just fi nancing; that’s partnership in service of a shared mission.I’m proud to call the Clearinghouse CDFI team partners. They’re solutions-oriented, fl exible, and clearly care about the outcomes their lending creates. We look forward to continuing to grow the relationship.
