$2.4 Million for Sustainable Small Business Marketplace

Mercado San Agustin is Tucson’s only small business public marketplace offering local artisan shops, restaurants, and weekly farmers markets.

Clearinghouse CDFI financed a $2.4 million loan for Mercado San Agustin to continue serving the distressed area of Tucson with local goods. The marketplace fosters small business growth and functions as a “green facility” by incorporating solar paneling and water conservation.

The project is one of Clearinghouse CDFI’s first lending projects as part of our expansion into Arizona and New Mexico.
