$500,000 Loan for the Preservation of an Arts District in Downtown Tucson
The Warehouse Arts Management Organization (WAMO) is a nonprofit organization focused on preserving and promoting the downtown Tucson Historic Warehouse Arts District.
Arizona MultiBank, a division of Clearinghouse CDFI, was pleased to work on this important community project with the following organizations:
- City of Tucson
- Nonprofit Loan Fund of Tucson and Southern Arizona
- Industrial Development Authority of the City of Tucson
Clearinghouse CDFI financed a $500,000 loan to WAMO for them to continue to preserve and promote the arts district. Financing will also allow the organization to construct 10 additional artist spaces and a community event center.
