$11.2 Million in Financing to Construct a 57-Unit Townhouse for Low-Income Individuals and Families in Downtown Las Vegas

$11.2M Creates 57 Affordable Townhouse Units in Las Vegas: Wardelle Street Townhouses is the ground up construction of a 57-unit townhouse development in downtown Las Vegas, NV. It is the joint venture of Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority and the Affordable Housing Program, Inc.

Clearinghouse CDFI will finance a $9.1M construction loan using Capital Magnet funds, as well as a $2.1M permanent loan. Clearinghouse CDFI will also provide the borrower with a below market interest rate. This project includes Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the Nevada Housing Division and $2.5 million in HUD HOME funds from the City of Las Vegas and Clark County.

Construction of Wardelle Street Townhouses created 57 homes consisting of one, two, and three bedroom units for families living at or below 50% of area median income.
