This year, Clearinghouse CDFI proudly sponsored the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Nearly twenty CCDFI teammates took part—on-site and remotely—and our community gave generously.

Together, we surpassed our $2,000 fundraising goal, reaching 113%.

Participants gather at the starting line of the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s beneath a purple banner reading “Start/Finish.”

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s began in a spirit of unity and hope, as participants gathered beneath the Start/Finish banner to honor loved ones and support the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

Messages of Hope from the Walk

At our booth, participants were invited to leave a Message of Hope. Notes were posted by:
Orange → Supporters of the Cause
Yellow → Supporters/Caretakers of someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia
Blue → People living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
Purple → Those who have lost someone to Alzheimer’s or dementia

Stacks of colorful flower-shaped cards at Clearinghouse CDFI’s Message of Hope booth, each color representing a different connection to Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Each flower color at the Message of Hope booth represented an individual story.

“We love and support the caregivers.”

“Our memories matter. We love you, Dad!”

“For all on the journey.”

“Walking for two who have passed. Getting info for other seniors.”

These messages filled the board throughout the morning and reminded everyone why this Walk matters.

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and over 11 million family and friends provide unpaid care. CCDFI is honored to stand with the Alzheimer’s Association in advancing help for families and progress toward a future without this disease.
