Clearinghouse CDFI provided $5.4 million in financing for Special Service for Groups (SSG) to acquire a 31-unit, 60-bed interim housing project operated by its Access to Prevention Advocacy Intervention & Treatment (APAIT) division. In partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LA-DMH), the site will serve as interim housing for unhoused individuals and families while delivering essential behavioral-health services that promote stability and well-being.

Through APAIT, residents will have access to personalized health services and medication support that help them manage both behavioral and physical wellness. Staff will also guide people through complex health systems and link them with programs for older adults or those living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS.
