Clearinghouse CDFI proudly welcomed Katelynn Villanueva to our 2024 ‘B’ BOLD(ER) Internship Program—a talent-building initiative designed to foster economic empowerment, job readiness, and leadership among emerging professionals who are passionate about market-driven community solutions.
About Katelynn
Katelynn is a first-generation college student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Cal State University, Dominguez Hills. With a strong foundation in business principles and leadership, she is excited to bring her skills and perspective to the mission-driven work of Clearinghouse CDFI.
What She’s Working On
This summer, Katelynn is supporting efforts within Clearinghouse CDFI by:
• Streamlining internal operations and staff support initiatives
• Assisting with onboarding processes and team coordination
• Soaking in the knowledge and experience from her advisors
What’s Next
After completing her internship, Katelynn plans to continue building her professional skills while exploring opportunities to lead initiatives that empower underrepresented communities. Her long-term goal is to take on leadership roles where she can have a direct impact on workplace culture and community engagement.
