Clearinghouse CDFI is proud to provide $626,850 in financing to our longstanding partner, Brilliant Corners, to help acquire and create behavioral support housing in Lancaster. This single-family home will undergo strategic renovations made possible by funding from the North Bay Regional Center and the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
Once renovations are complete, the home will operate as an Enhanced Behavioral Support Home—a thoughtfully designed, secure residence for four individuals with significant behavioral challenges. Brilliant Corners, an experienced nonprofit housing provider founded in 2004, will work closely with specialized care providers to ensure residents receive the attentive, round-the-clock care and support they need. Planned safety features include secured perimeter fencing and specialized interior finishes, carefully chosen to protect residents and create a comfortable living environment.
Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes play an essential role in California, offering compassionate, expert care to individuals whose behavioral needs extend beyond what traditional group homes can provide. These homes are specifically licensed by Community Care Licensing in partnership with DDS and staffed by trained, experienced professionals dedicated to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
