College of the Desert – Indio, CA

Clearinghouse CDFI (CCDFI) provided a $12 million in NMTC funds to assist College of the Desert in expanding educational opportunities in Indio, California. This funding supports the construction and renovation of campus facilities aimed at enhancing connectivity and student engagement.

The project includes the development of a new 67,000-square-foot, three-story education center and the renovation of 10,000 square feet of existing campus space. The improvements integrate with the $25 million Indio Childcare Center and School, currently underway, creating a more cohesive campus environment.
